Tennis in the Parks

Tennis in the Parks is offered in 6 different Mankato parks each. There is no set age range but the program is recommended for students entering grades K- 7th grade. Each program will last two weeks, and cover a variety of tennis topics, fundamentals, games.

 Below you will find park locations, times, and descriptions of the following summer camps for the 2019 summer season.

For all camps wear tennis shoes, bring water, and a racquet. (racquets available to borrow if necessary)

Entering Pre K- 1st Grade 'Quickstart' tennis:  Exciting new way for players to be introduced to the game of tennis through interactive games with modified court and equipment.   8-8:45 AM or 2-2:45 PM (check locations below) 

2nd-4th grade: Group games and interactive play will be the core of this program along with development of fundamental strokes.   9-9:55 AM or 3-3:55 PM (check locations below) 

5th-7th grade: Players will work on topspin ground-strokes, volleys, and continental serves gaining the capacity for rally tennis and games.  10-10:55 AM or 4-4:55 PM (check locations below)

Sessions run for two weeks Monday-Thursday. Fridays are reserved for rain make-ups. Cost for each session is $65.
